When it rains, it pours: The Vancouver Courier weighs in

May 7th, 2008 by Lauren · 1 Comment

We’re having a big day over here: A television interview this morning, our event at Sophia Books tonight, and in between we got news that The Vancouver Courier has published a lovely article about us. I think they (or rather, the fabulous author Cheryl Rossi) captured our philosophy very nicely — that your business doesn’t have to rake in millions to qualify as successful, and that women can do business their own way and achieve their dreams.

The accompanying photo co-stars the beautiful spiral staircase in our office building, which also appears in our jacket photo.

OK, that’s more than enough blog posts for one day. More tomorrow…

I too looked for business advice in books that were geared towards massive corporations and it was certainly frustrating. I pushed on because I have the passion and the drive to succeed.

I just got your book moments ago and I can’t wait to start reading it! I’m keen to learn about a fellow Vancouverite’s experiences in the realm of small business.
