Who Loves Cupcakes?

We do! And we espe­cially love Cup­cakes Take the Cake, an all-cupcakes-all-the-time blog co-authored by Rachel Kramer Bus­sel, Nichelle Stephens (who by the way has a great busi­ness blog of her own), and Alli­son Bojarski. We’ve known Rachel for years, from back in our Soap­box­girls day (and before she became a hugely famous writer), so we were delighted when she asked to inter­view us. Here­with, our answers to Rachel’s ques­tions about our book, run­ning a bak­ery (or other food-based busi­ness), and what we love most about cupcakes.

    i’ve just come across your site (via the blog dec­o­rate) and am so happy i did. i’ve just read 2 pages of your book ‘be your own boss’ from the sam­ple you’ve made avail­able and already know this is exactly what i’ve been look­ing for. i even pon­dered yes­ter­day why there weren’t any books like this! i’ve always wanted to start my own busi­ness and am finally, slowly, tak­ing the first minor steps in mak­ing my dream a real­ity (if only on a part time basis). i have no doubt your book will be so help­ful and inspi­ra­tional. thank you so much! you have a won­der­ful site and i look for­ward to tak­ing my time going through your archives.
