The Boss of You

There’s a fun movie night com­ing up soon for all you fans of indie, DIY, crafty stuff. Faythe Levine is bring­ing her film, Hand­made Nation, to Van­cou­ver. The film fea­tures some of our favourite artist-designer-crafters, like Jenny Hart (whom we inter­viewed for our book, The Boss of You) and Nikki McClure, among many, many others.

The screen­ing takes place at the Rio The­atre here in Van­cou­ver, at 1660 East Broad­way (at Com­mer­cial), on Thurs­day, July 9. There’s a craft show­case at 7:00 PM, fol­lowed by an 8:00 PM screen­ing. Tick­ets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door, and the first 100 tick­ets sold will receive a swag bag.
