We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been invited to participate in GoToMeeting’s excellent webinar series for entrepreneurs… and next week we’ll be presenting a 1-hour session: “Small + Successful: Defining and Achieving Your Entrepreneurial Goals.” If you’ve read our book, you know that for us, success isn’t about being big or small – it’s about being what’s right for you. So we’ll be talking about that, and about:
- Why small (business) is awesome
- The importance of defining (and redefining) success for yourself
- How to make a small business sustainable
- Tips for when you do want to get bigger
The webinar is totally free – and we’ll be taking questions throughout so bring an active mind! It takes place June 15, 11:00 am PDT / 2:00 pm EDT. Learn more (and sign up!) here.

I’m excited to attend your event! Will there be a Twitter event hashtag to follow during the webinar (i.e. to submit questions to you or follow the conversation and live tweets, etc.)? Thanks again for putting on this free event!

Yes! We’re using #smallbiz & will be taking questions from Twitter as well as through the webinar’s chat interface.

Hi there! I missed this, and have only just found out about you through Oh My! Handmade. I would love to be able to watch the webinar if it can still be available. I just tried to watch it “on demand” following the registration instructions from the link, but it just keeps redirecting me to the registration page.
I am just starting my business, writing out my goals etc, and I think I could benefit from this (even though I am a week late!)

Hi Caitlin – I’m not 100% sure of the answer to that question. You might need to ask the folks at GoToMeeting. It’s possible they only give access to the archived webinar to registered participants; however, I did think that the archive link would work for everyone. Sorry I can’t be of more help!
